Whether you have heard about DSLD Homes from a friend, seen an advertisement, or come across one of our neighborhoods, you might not realize we build in over 100 communities across the south. So let’s get you started on building your new home!

First, head over to our website DSLDHomes.com and select where you want to build. Click the blue bar and you will find the major cities we build in, for instance, if you choose Baton Rouge, LA you will find homes in Livingston and Ascension parish. 
Next, find your favorite DSLD Homes community that you would be interested in living in. Our website is a great tool for narrowing your community search down. Once you have selected the city and state, you will see the communities that are offered in that area. You can narrow your search by zip code, price, schools, and square footage to find exactly which community is best for you. 

Not sure what your home budget is yet? DSLD Mortgage is a great resource to help you understand the mortgage process when buying your new home. Getting prequalified is easy! Click on the "Get Prequalified button" on the community page and it will direct you to the application. 

For example, if you want to live in Nickens Lake, you would click the "Get Prequalified button" on that community page.

But if you aren’t sure where you want to live just yet, you can fill out your information on the DSLD Mortgage website to have someone help get you started.  

Once you narrow down your search and know your budget, you can contact a Builder Sales Representative or visit a model home. This is where the fun begins! The Builder Sales Representative will have an abundance of information for you to help make an informed decision on building your new home. You will quickly learn what an awesome asset these representatives will be throughout this process. 

Now that you have found your DSLD Homes community, spoken with a Mortgage Loan Originator, and met with a Builder Sales Representative, it is time to choose a floorplan and lot.
