Our model home hours for the spring/summer are Monday – Saturday from 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. and Sunday 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. During the fall/winter, our Model Home hours are Monday - Saturday 9:30 A.M – 5:30 P.M. and Sunday 12:30 A.M. – 5:30 P.M.
No, some of our communities do not have a model home. Homes in these new communities are sold from a nearby community that does have a model home.
We currently build new homes in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
No, we only build in our DSLD Homes communities.
First things first: Contact a Builder Sales Representative! They will take you step by step through the home buying process.
Structural changes to plans are not an option, but a Builder Sales Representative will assist you in making personal choices for your home at the color appointment. DSLD does offer a selection of floor plans, colors, flooring, granite, lighting packages, and cabinets to make the decision process less stressful.
Floor plans for each community are hand-selected based on lot size and cost.
Every neighborhood is different, and upgrades are based on the community’s options. Visit the model home in your selected community, and the Builder Sales Representative can provide you with that information.
Once you have decided to build your home with DSLD, the construction process will take approximately 5.5 to 6 months.
Unfortunately, DSLD does not remodel homes.

Don’t stress! A DSLD Mortgage Loan Officer will contact you once you have completed the mortgage pre-approval on the website. The Loan Officer will walk you through the mortgage process, but you can start getting these items together: Your driver’s license, social security card, two years of completed tax returns (form 1040), two years of W-2’s, 30 days of payslips, and two months of your bank transaction history. If you are self-employed, you must have your business tax returns and current profit & loss statement (P&L).
In most DSLD communities, no deposit is required.

Yes! The Builder Sales Representative will be in contact with you through emails, text messages, pictures and phone calls during the entire process. You may also visit the model home during construction.
With the purchase of a DSLD home, you are guaranteed 1 year of builder warranty, 2 years of systems warranty, and a structural warranty. (Please check your state's warranty manual to know the exact structural time frame.)
DSLD Homes offers a 1 year extended warranty to cover 1 extra year of workmanship and 1 extra year of structural in Louisiana and Mississippi. (To be purchased at the time of the contract).

We build a variety of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom floor plans, ranging from 1,300 to 3,300 square feet.
